WinBox is RouterOS remote client. RouterOS WinBox requires Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP. Once downloaded, WinBox.EXE can reside on your computer. When started, it dynamically downloads all required files (about 600kB) from the router and caches them on the disk for later use.

MikroTik WinBox Console

Download and run the RouterOS GUI client.
WinBox has optional command line arguments: 

winbox [<address> [<login> [<password>]]]
Opens Telnet Session

RouterOS Terminal Console

Telnet to the router and use the ASCII Terminal Console.
